5 years ago Hyundai launched a rear-wheel-drive luxury car, the Genesis and now the company make improvement and now Hyundai continue the vision for the next version of this car. The new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan come and appear as the new Luxury car. This time we will give you the new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan concept.
The new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan also called Called the HCD-14 Genesis, John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America said the concept reveals the future design direction for the company’s upcoming premium vehicles. According to Hyundai, The HCD-14 is designed to build on this success. The car wears a so-called “fluidic-precision, liquid metal” design language and its gemstone-like surfaces convey quality, while the long dash-to-axle ratio, afforded by its rear-wheel-drive architecture, gives it a sporty look.
For the Powertrains, the new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan offer the 3.8-liter V-6 Lambda and 5.0-liter V-8 Tau engines. Output likely will remain close to what’s produced by today’s Genesis—333 horsepower from the V-6 and 429 from the V-8 and an eight-speed automatic should continue as standard and it’s possible a new diesel option will be offered overseas. The European market will be offered a four-cylinder diesel that produces 220 horsepower, and a diesel hybrid using the same mill is a possibility.
For the Platform, the new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan will use an evolution of its current platform, a rear-wheel-drive architecture that can be modified to accommodate all-wheel drive. The car is scheduled to be revealed at the end of this year before reaching showrooms early next as a 2014 model, giving the outgoing Genesis a six-year life cycle.
